About Cottage Park

The park owners, Rennie & Sharon Smith, have chosen to live in Cottage Park and take great pride, as do their tenants, in their gardens and general running of the park. This means that they have a great relationship with all the residents and encourages a real community spirit within the park as a whole.

Services within the park consist of mains electricity which is metered at every unit. Gas is bottled, with most residents having adequate room for four bottles to give a good capacity even over harsh winter months. Each home has its own telephone line from which owners can select their own phone provider. And, of course, mains water and drainage is connected to all units. A tarmac road runs right through the park for easy access to all homes which also benefit from alongside parking.

All residents pride themselves of their beautiful gardens some of which have won awards from “Ross in Bloom”. Cottage Park is mostly aimed for people aged 55 plus being semi-retired/retired. (grand children are always welcome to visit), pets are allowed at the site owners discretion. There are new units available, and Sharon & Rennie are always available on site to assist with viewing and enquiries.

Ross-on-Wye is on the edge of the Forest of Dean - within less than 30 minutes you can reach Monmouth, Hereford, Great Malvern, Ledbury, Tewkesbury, Gloucester, Cinderford, Coleford. It is also has swift access to South Wales and the M5 west - while the M50 connects with the major highways and gives access to the east. Ross-on-Wye in South Herefordshire gives the quiet solitude of a market town but offers great access to the greater motorway network.
